Stephen King’s ‘Boogeyman’ Gets a PG-13 Rating for Violent Content and Terror

Violent Night is coming to town, y’all. This mashup of Die Hard and Miracle on 32nd Street looks like its going to be a blast. Plus, it stars Stranger Thing’s David Harbour. The new featurette walks us through what we can expect and it looks like Christmas is coming early for gore and violence hounds.

The synopsis for Violent Night goes like this:

When a team of mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone inside hostage, the team isn’t prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus (David Harbour, Black Widow, Stranger Things series) is on the grounds, and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint.

Violent Night stars David Harbour, John Leguizamo (John Wick), Cam Gigandet (Without Remorse), Alex Hassell (Cowboy Bebop), Alexis Louder (The Tomorrow War), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones) and Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise).

Violent Night arrives in theaters December 2.
